Heber Creeper

We rode on the Heber Creeper. The Heber Creeper is an old steam-engine train that runs from Heber to Provo through Provo Canyon. We just rode it from Heber to Deer Creek Reservoir and back. I got to hang out with the conductor. It was pretty sweet.

Park City

Park City was a lot of fun. We did a lot of neat stuff. We rode on a train...

... on a plane...

... and on a merry-go-round.

We also rode on the Alpine Slide. Here's me and Daddy coming down the slide. We went fast... almost as fast as when I rode with Mama.

We also went to a lot of restaurants when we were in Park City. One thing I learned is that even though jalapenos look like olives, they're not olives. Here's me trying to recover from my mistake.

Rodeo

After Uncle Jed's wedding we went to Spanish Fork to see a rodeo. It had horses and clowns and bulls and even sheep (the little kid cowboys rode the sheep). Here's a picture of a grown up cowboy getting thrown by a bull.

Timpanogas Cave

We went to Timpanogas Cave when we were in Utah. Here's me at the start of the trail. That was the easy part. Actually, I didn't think the hike was that bad. Daddy carried me most of the way. Daddy said it was tough. I told him he should have asked Uncle Jeff to carry him.



Anyway, the hike was worth it. The cave was really cool. It was cold and wet and dark and it had stalactites and stalagmites. Those are the things that hang done from the ceiling and stand up on the floor. Here's me and Daddy in the cave with some stalactites behind us:

Salt Lake City

It's been a while since I've written. That's because I've been traveling. We went on an airplane to Salt Lake City. We did a lot of fun things there. We went to a cave, on a slide, and to a zoo. I have pictures. I'll write about all the fun stuff we did in my next posts.

McKenzie's Athletic Prowess

McKenzie has turned into quite the athlete. She's a good dancer...

Joy School Graduation

We had Joy School Graduation yesterday. Joy School is like a home school preschool kind of thing. We started in January and met twice a week. We learned stuff like how to make choices and how to use our imagination.

At graduation, we all wore funny hats and got important-looking pieces of paper.


I'm not sure what my class rank was, but I know I was at least in the top 4.
