Miss Potato Head

This is how McKenzie plays with Mr. Potato Head.

I Love to See the Temple

We went to see the London England Temple today. The London temple is in Newchapel, which is basically out in the countryside south of London. We took the train to Lingfield and then took a cab from there. We just walked around the grounds and Mama got some stuff at the distribution center.

To get home, we were a little more adventurous. Instead of taking a cab, we walked the 2.5 miles back to the station. There was sidewalk most of the way. Where there wasn't, we did a little off-roading through the mud in our stroller. Daddy almost accidentally dumped us out of the stroller a few times. That was the fun part; the rest was just nice. Lot's of green rolling hills, old houses, and some sheep.

Double Deckers

I finally got to ride on a double decker bus today! I've wanted to do it ever since I heard we were moving to London. We took the train to the London Victoria station and then we took Bus 11 into Chelsea. Driving through London on the top of a double decker bus is a cool way to see the city.

As we were going through Chelsea we saw a cool open air market in Duke of York Square. We got off, checked it out, and bought a couple of snacks. We walked around Chelsea just a little and then hopped back on the #11 heading the other way.

Next, we got off at Westminster where we checked out Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament (to which Big Ben is attached), and Westminster Abbey.

Daddy also made us take a picture of this statue of Winston Churchill so that Grandpa could see it.
