Wheels on the Bus

McKenzie is learning The Wheels on the Bus. She can also clap her hands and fold her arms.

McKenzie and I went outside to play today. It was 72 degrees out there. We played soccer...

... McKenzie rode in her wagon...

... and I rode on my bike. I rode my bike to the grocery store to get milk, to the bank to get money, to the cleaners to pick up my clothes, and to the gas station to get gasoline. They're all within the confines of my driveway, though, so it's a pretty short trip.

Frogs

I saw two frogs today. I was playing outside with Mama and Baby Sis when I saw them. One was yellow and bumpy. The other one was black. The black one was jumping. The yellow one was crawling. I talked to the black one. I bent down close to him and said "Hi Frog." He didn't say anthing, but I could tell he was awake: his eyes were open. I didn't talk to the yellow one. But since the black one didn't talk back, I guess it's just as well.

McKenzie Walks

McKenzie is really walking. She's been walking for a few days now. I tried to get it on camera, but she'll only walk when the camera's not looking. She'll take up to four or five steps on her own. Pretty cool. And she's not even ten months old yet.

Puzzles & Trains

Did I tell you about my other hobbies? One of them is doing puzzles. I can do a puzzle of 24 pieces in about 5 minutes. Mama says that's amazing. Daddy says it's cause I'm smart. I think it's just because I have high spatial intelligence. Here's a video of me finishing a puzzle.

My other hobby is playing with trains. Here's a picture of me with the train tracks. Daddy helped me set up this one.

Boogers

While Mama was putting me and McKenzie in the car this morning, she noticed that McKenzie had a booger and wiped it up. McKenzie gets boogers, but they're easy to see and clean up. Mine aren't quite that way, so I commented to Mama.

"My boogers are up in my head," I said.

For some reason, she thought that was funny. But at least she knows now why I have to dig so hard to find them.
