Joy School Graduation

We had Joy School Graduation yesterday. Joy School is like a home school preschool kind of thing. We started in January and met twice a week. We learned stuff like how to make choices and how to use our imagination.

At graduation, we all wore funny hats and got important-looking pieces of paper.


I'm not sure what my class rank was, but I know I was at least in the top 4.

Turtle

We found a turtle in our pool the other day. It was just swimming around.

I tried to get it to walk out, but it wouldn't come. Daddy had to scoop it out with a net.

Once we got it out, we gave it quick examination and then let it go.

Camping

I'm a camper. We went camping last week with some friends from our ward. It was cool. We built a campfire, slept in a tent, and ate camp food. I only fell down about 15 times, which I figure is pretty good for my first campout.

The day after we slept in our tents, we went on a hike up to a waterfall. We walked about two miles round trip and I walked it the whole way. Well, I ran part of it. The waterfall was way cool.

Gym Class

McKenzie and I graduated from our respective gym classes this week. We get to do lost of fun things in our gym classes like swinging, jumping, rolling, and playing with a parachute. Here's McKenzie swinging...

We did so well we got medals. Although, I guess everyone else did, too...

We've had a few colds go around here lately, enough that McKenzie's learned to blow her own nose. Check it out.
